The success of SQ Group in sweater manufacturing and export prompted it to establish backward linkage for itself in the form of ColorMaster Limited – a fully automated yarn dyeing facility.

Expected to be in operation at the end of 2003, the plant would initially produce 3000 metric tons of dyed yarn per annum, primarily cotton. This backward linkage would reduce lead time and cost of production, which are considered by the industry as important competitive advantages.

The project has been designed with industry standard machineries from Europe and US and will be staffed and run by both local and international experts.
